Cafe De L Union sur Laruns

The one and only restaurant worthy of the name in Laruns. Just that ! Since the Arrégalet was closed following the death of M Coudouy. There was no longer a restaurant in Laruns, I mean a place where you eat local cuisine, authentic with a touch of originality but not too much. Last year, L'Estive was closed the evening I wanted to eat, I found myself having to dine elsewhere and elsewhere, it's not great.

So first of all in terms of cuisine, nothing to say, everything was very good from starter to dessert and in more than sufficient quantity! On the other hand, in terms of service it could be better! And as for the flies, I know there are them all over town but with the awning above they remain blocked and are quite a nuisance all the same :/

Everything is said in the other comments (the good ones). Everything is good from aperitif to dessert (and even up to the free digestive!) The portions are generous, even for good eaters. The service is neither too long nor too fast and everything is homemade and comes from local producers (the origin of the products is marked on the menu) and it's good!!

We were looking for a good restaurant for the weekend, we found it, very good cuisine with homemade products, efficient service and a warm village place. If there is a restaurant to choose in Laruns, it's this one. there !

Very good restaurant, discreet but very efficient! The dishes are copious, with quality, seasonal and local products. I ate a salmon caught a few kilometers away. Mastered cooking and combination of crunchy vegetables, excellent plate. Family atmosphere, we have a great time. We'll come back!
