Cafe Beaubourg sur Paris

Brunch without too much fuss but delicious.

Great food option right next to the Pompidou center. We went for a late lunch. Walked in. Sat outside. Service was FAST. <10 mins we got water on the table and food ordered. Within 15 mins we got our starter. The waiter that day walked fast and frequently checked the table, replaced the dishes and took extra orders... Etc. We really appreciate the "fast pace" and "no reservation needed". It was a little challenge for us to find a good French restaurant in Paris that is close to the tourism activities and work with our tight traveling schedule. We tasted the starter, 2 main courses (chicken and lamb), salad, desserts and coffee there. The sauces and sides complemented the main dish well. No French fries, a big plus for us.

I had the beef tartare and green beans. Superb! Our server was so kind. Let us taste several wines. Helped us with our French pronunciations and gave excellent recommendations. He made my birthday dinner exceptional! I wish I could remember his name. Nice young man studying marketing! Thank you all!

An exceptional HQ since the 90s! Whether we restore our palate at mealtimes or our brains for a session of relaxation and/or work, alone or in groups, the liner happily takes us on its upper deck as well as on the ground floor. or on its vast terrace facing Beaubourg. An unmissable and indispensable place. With its welcoming and friendly crew, some members who have been there for years are pillars of the place. Even after moving to the suburbs, Café Beaubourg remains my Parisian home base. Cast off, but not the good habits! And thank you to the whole team (with kisses for Julien, Elias, Yohann, Manon, Gloria, Nizar, Samy, Pascal, Ben, Adam.... & everyone whose first name I don't know without forgetting the cat Bouumboum, mascot of the place). Small onion service. The waiters have something that makes them look like they came out of a Truffaut film. We meet people from the world of cinema or culture there.
