We chose this restaurant for dinner based on the reviews as well as by consulting the menu online. As a starter we both had the fish soup which was ok. For the main course we chose the chef's specialty beef cheek and the fish pot. The cheek was good but didn't impress me, for the pot it was served with little sauce, one of the fish was very dry, the mussels overcooked. There was a dessert, the chicory crème brûlée, good but nothing more. In summary, we expected a slightly better service compared to the price.

Excellent in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere! We liked the atmosphere, the availability and the quality of the welcome in general, whether in the hotel or restaurant sector! The staff are generally very cheerful and customer-friendly! Very good place that we recommend!

With a beautiful view of Cape Gris Nez and sometimes the English coast, it is an ideal place to relax, a delight for the eyes but also for the taste buds! Had a drink on the terrace and ordered a mixed cheese and charcuterie platter...butter, bread available but no knife to spread. Then ordered a mixed platter and a charcuterie platter....no butter and 1 small basket (half filled) for the 2 plateaus. The charcuterie platter was sad... practically nothing... how disappointed...

Very friendly, the staff and owners are very friendly. Very warm and pleasant atmosphere. Located 10 minutes walk from the beach, and a few km from the lighthouse. A magnificent view, we see the coast of England.

08/04/2024: Very nice authentic atmosphere, France like you remember it. Not a fancy trendy commercial place, but a traditional restaurant where friendly service, traditional food and a relaxed atmosphere are still the most important ingredients.

Le vent du nord

20/03/2024: Saturday noon, during the service, my wife and I arrive to have a hot drink. Despite the large crowds, we were received with a big smile. Enticed by the good smells emanating from the kitchen, we ask if it is still possible to have lunch. A table became available and we were able to enjoy a great meal My wife a generous and excellent fish soup followed by a cod fillet and I a timbale of salad with crab and gray shrimp followed by a very copious shallot flank steak. We were unable to finish the toppings, there were so many of them. All for a more than reasonable price for what we had the pleasure of tasting. Don't change anything, everything is perfect and served with friendliness and professionalism. See you soon
16/03/2024: We ate desserts here and really liked it! Unfortunately, we weren’t able to try the main dishes, but I’m sure they are no worse!
