BISTROT DE LA MER CHEZ AURELIE sur Damgan

My wife and I ate at Aurélie Bistrot at the beginning of our trip to France in August. Weeks before, we had seen a travel report about Brittany and also about the bistrot on German television. That's why we knew that the boss there speaks German. Unfortunately we only speak a few sentences of French. Since it was our wedding anniversary, we didn't want to take any risks with dinner that evening, as we are not very familiar with Breton/French cuisine. We received a very friendly welcome and the boss even took the time to advise us on the menu selection, even though the bistro was already very busy. The whole menu was really excellent and the entire team was really attentive and friendly. In the meantime, the team and Aurélie came to our table with sparklers and sang a serenade for us. The packed bistro joined in with clapping. We were therefore surprised and touched at that moment. It is very rare to experience such hospitality and we will always remember this wonderful evening. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to get to know this highly praised bistro and its landlady. We're too late, it's winter break. But a big thank you for the very clear announcement on the answering machine and also in English! So we didn't come for nothing. All the best and maybe another time.

Great discovery!!! Very warm welcome and homemade pastries that are worth the detour! Both by their flavors and the presentation with edible flowers and other elderberry sorbet for example... Absolutely worth discovering! I particularly enjoyed the Far Breton generously garnished with prunes, a delight.

Friendly place with refined dishes. Order taking a little long and starter served at the same time as the aperitif, slightly disappointing. The Thai broth lacked a little pep.

La formule du jour, juste parfaite. Les moules au kari-gosse (une spécialité bretonne incroyable) avec des pommes de terre grenaille, et un far aux pruneaux. Rien à redire, tout est vraiment délicieux, je recommande !!

Nous avons été déjeuner un midi pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse nous avons été reçu par du personnels très sympathiques, la cuisine est délicieusea vec des produiits frais, qui plus est ils sont venus lui souhaiter son anniversaire avec une bougie sur son dessert... Séquence émotion. Je recommande à 100%👍👍🙏🙏
