Bar des Oiseaux sur Nice

Every year during our holidays we go to the bird bar for the quality of their food. The €22 menu is impeccable value for money. This year we had à la carte dishes. Everything lacked a little salt but it's a question of taste and the server had brought back the salt and pepper to readjust the flavors. I personally find that the dish should be a little better served in terms of quantities we are left a little hungry. As for dessert, nothing to complain about the unstructured lemon tart but the red fruit tartlet is a failure. When you want to deconstruct desserts too much, this can prove unsuccessful. 4 strawberries, whipped cream galore, tasteless mousse and an almost non-existent crumbled biscuit. I also reported this to the staff who took my remark into account and did not charge me for the dessert, thank you for your commercial gesture. We will come back.

Very warm welcome with smiling and available staff. The service is done at a good pace while still leaving time to appreciate an original room. Quality of products and cuisine. It is very pleasant to discover a restaurant with such good value for money in a tourist town. I highly recommend !

Cozy street with a nice atmosphere. Sweet and smiling staff. We tasted a 3-course menu for lunch, which was absolutely fantastic (and relatively cheap). Everything went into a higher unity. NOTE: it may be necessary to book a table.

Ravioli was so good and also the beef cheeks were delicious !

A consistently amazing dining experience. We have been out of Nice for two months and Le Bar des Oiseaux is one of our first places to go when we return to Nice. Fantastic everything. For lunch today I had the veal and my husband had the duck and while I am not normally a sharer of food today I took the plunge and decided to split my lunch. What a win for me, both main courses were fantastic and with the same paring of vegetables it was an easy way to enjoy both proteins. Service, as always was impeccable, and now that we have been there over the past three years they do tend to remember our dog, and therefor us, so we always feel as though we are coming home rather than going out. We keep coming back and every time we look forward to our next time at Bar des Oiseaux.

Fantastic Niçoise food with a modern twist. Super reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Hidden in an alley in old Nice, Le Bar des Oiseaux is a lovely discovery. A pleasant room full of nods to art opening onto an open kitchen. The service is simple but pleasant, the cuisine with Mediterranean accents respects seasonal products.

Amazing food (especially the calamares and the beef), good quality ingredients and lovely atmosphere. We will certainly come back.
