Auberge Le Saint Jean sur Nanteuil-En-Vallee

The restaurant is situated in the medieval village of Nanteuil en Vallée. Very picturesque and pretty in the sunshine. Lunch today was a very pleasant experience. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The service was timeous and we never felt under any pressure to hurry up, even though we had a very leisurely lunch. The food was very good I had terrine of gibier followed by lamb tagine and then poached warm spiced pear. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to going back for another visit

Excessively expensive menus, a tagine that was much too hot and really lacked meat. Not to mention the special atmosphere at the next table - completely drunk regulars who can't stand up. Even if these are just details: no air conditioning or fan, no telephone network inside and decoration that leaves something to be desired. It's a shame because this small village has a lot of charm.
