Auberge de la Charriole sur Taintrux

We have just spent a night at the hostel, it was a lovely time, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean, the bedding is perfect. The meal is very good and plentiful. I highly recommend this hostel. The big dog is a sweetheart, a huge ball who loves cuddles and caresses. We will return

Nice place and good value for money for accommodation. Unfortunately, you have to be careful in case of food allergies. Despite the fact that we had notified the presence of a celiac person and asked again for confirmation to eat there and after we were assured that it was ok, we had to send back a dish from the menu and take another dish in addition. And for breakfast, nothing was planned. My partner therefore ate fruit and yogurt. So we didn't do too badly but we have to be modest.

Stay with a Smartbox room plus breakfast from March 6 to 7, 2024, we also had the evening meal with regional products and home cooking, it was not included in the Smartbox, we loved it, everything was perfect, the staff, meals, room, breakfast and the place surrounded by nature and without forgetting the dog Lacky. I promise we’ll come back to it. Joel. S

Nous avons un avis mitigé suite à notre séjour à l'auberge. Notre arrivée était assez froide. Auberge plongée dans le noir, homme non souriant, ne nous explique pas grand chose. (Parties communes ? Heure de sortie le lendemain ?) Il semble très pressé ce qui nous met mal à l'aise. Il nous accompagne à la porte de la chambre et s'en va. Nous nous retrouvons avec notre lampe torche pour chercher la lumière. De plus, notre arrivée était prévue, et pour autant le chauffage n'avait pas été allumé, il faisait très froid le temps que les radiateurs chauffent. La chambre était sommaire, simple, le lit petit, mais la chambre était spacieuse, certes. L'environnement extérieur était agréable. Le chien, lui, etait tres mignon et gentil. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et bon. Mais la personne qui était présente, aussi souriante soit elle, était occupée, et il était difficile de la trouver quand nous voulions de l'eau, des œufs, ou autre chose qui n'était pas en libre service. Le personnel manquait un peu de chaleur à nos yeux.
