If you prefer authentic cuisine to pretentious cuisine, Mazot is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Val Thorens. (even if the tivoli is not far away)

Last dinner in Val Thorens, and it was quite something, started with the black pudding that was made exceptionally well. Then we ordered the duck breast, I got the blueberry sauce as recommended by the hostess which was phenomenal and the duck was cooked very well and full of juices, as well the potatoes on the side were very well seasoned and cooked. Finally we got the cherry crumble which went very nicely with the raspberry sorbet. The atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing and the hostess was always smiling which made the experience so special. Would recommend and come again if I’m in Val Thorens again, and reserving a place in the restaurant is a must.

Great dinner Quality traditional Savoyard dishes. The boss is friendly and welcoming. An essential address in Val Thorens for years.

This restaurant is a pure marvel! The cuisine is superb, the service is impeccable and warm, the decoration and atmosphere are so authentic. Thank you very much to the waiters, the kitchen artisans and above all thank you Nanou!
