04/04/2024: The welcome from Pascale and the entire Janissaire Team is always as warm and as usual we enjoyed ourselves: several cold and hot starters shared between the 4 of us: delicious stuffed vine leaves, melting hummus with sesame, puff pastry with crispy cheese, succulent sautéed veal liver and delicate zucchini fritter. Then a feast shared between grilled lamb chops and sublime Kofte Janissaire grilled over a wood fire. To finish, ice cream and homemade Baklava... Thank you! 06/04/2024: Very nice discovery, ohlala, it was delicious. We had couscous with 3 skewers, frankly it was excellent. When Numide couscous is prepared by Algerian hands, frankly, there is no photo. There is nothing better than a return to the origins. I would just like to taste Tuareg dishes from southern Algeria since the restaurant is called Touareg, it would have been more relevant in my opinion to highlight Algerian Tuareg cuisine. As for couscous, remember to serve other Kabyle couscous which are not yet known to foreigners such as ouvissar couscous, tchiwtchiw, leghmoud, seksou thghediwth, 7 issofar...etc. THANKS

03/05/2024: Nespresso machine broken down, I decided to move towards an automatic gain machine to test. A friend recommended this roaster to me. I arrived 5 minutes before closing time. The person who welcomed me still took the time to advise me and explain the things to do and not to do with my new machine. Top service 👌🏼. I tried the Colombian coffee recommended by my friend at home. The first coffees were average with a bit of a special taste, not too much to my liking. The next day, I made a few adjustments and the result improved significantly. It is better than different Nespresso coffees. In short, very satisfied with the store's service and products.

04/04/2024: Passing through Paris on business, we ate in this brasserie a stone's throw from the TGV tracks. I recommend the tables close to the bay windows. Meal-wise, nothing to complain about. I recommend !

08/05/2024: We enjoyed ourselves in this small Italian restaurant near Gare de Lyon. We appreciated the very present and nuanced flavors of the dishes. Very good for satisfying different desires: salads, pasta, pizza, meat and seafood.

20/03/2024: For our family’s first trip to Paris, I wanted to eat French food beyond the tourist staples of steak and frites. This restaurant was mentioned on various food blogs and it did not disappoint. The lone waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines to pair with our mains and fluent in English. Hearty meat and fish mains with no frites in sight; well, there were “frites” made from chickpea flour which are then carb-free (since chickpeas are legumes and a meat free protein source) which were crunchy and delicious paired with the monkfish. My daughter let me have one of them🙄The four of us shared 2 orders of the wild snails sautéed in butter and parsley with raw greens in a light vinaigrette- the chef was thoughtful to divide them into 4 plates for us. We also shared an appetizer of tripe in a buttery sauce with olives and bread. My son and husband shared the steak and mashed potatoes (meant for two), which I had to agree, was the best I have ever had! I enjoyed my order of seasoned lamb on a bed of wild rice and gravy. Barely had room for dessert and we shared 2 orders of the lemon crème brûlée- we enjoyed the tartness after such a filling meal! The restaurant was not too loud even though almost full with everyone talking and laughing. Don’t expect fancy presentations or garnishes here. Great value compared to other places we have been to!

23/02/2024: Anyway, all the dishes are surprisingly delicious! You can eat delicious French cuisine in Japan, but I feel like I was able to see the difference in its potential here. The wine selection is good and the service is very pleasant. I definitely want to go again if I go to Paris!

24/04/2024: Very good card. Rich and hearty burger, excellent home fries and very good coleslow! The quality has absolutely not changed over time. The desserts are delicious. Warm and cozy atmosphere. But the most comes from the service. The owners and the waiter are incredibly generous and kind. This has become my son's favorite restaurant!
