29/03/2024: Meal with very good local products, well cooked (salmon, veal), accompanied by local wines (preference for the white Coteaux du Saillant and the red Pecharmant) Ideal restaurant for a family lunch followed by a digestive walk in the village of Saint Viance and along the Vézère. Warm welcome, discretion and good advice. We will return with pleasure.

11/05/2024: We had a great time as a family at the Le Cantou restaurant, which was able to find us a place for lunch.
The shaded terrace, the attentive and hyper-responsive service, as well as the very generous dishes, even for children, helped to make this experience memorable.

04/04/2024: For our second visit to this otherwise pleasant restaurant, we were very disappointed by the quality of the fish served as the dish of the day, hake. This fish was full of bones and we were only warned of this inconvenience when the dish was served to us.
Inedible and when I asked to replace this dish, I was told it would take too long.
It's lamentable because the waiter is adorable but we won't come back because with a bill of 265 euros for 4 with champagne, I was expecting a commercial gesture, which I didn't get.
There is much better value for money on BRIVE.

The lunch menu at 13€50 is very good and very generous
07/04/2024: Super all-you-can-eat restaurant, homemade cuisine, varied, good unlimited barbecue on Saturday evening, very affordable price. Meals at lunchtime during the week and in the evening on weekends. We ate very well and hope to come back as soon as we are in the region. Reservations are recommended!
