Venezia le sur Calais

14/05/2024: Everything was perfect, pleasantly surprised, there were 2 of us and we took the formula for 15 euros, a starter, a main course, a drink and a coffee, you can hardly find cheaper, it was very good, we like the mixture of flavors, the dishes were very well presented, worthy of a great restaurant 😉 the staff is welcoming, very friendly, there is the menu too, but I noticed that most people had taken the 15 euro menu, I think that it's a regular clientele, that doesn't surprise me, the atmosphere was friendly, we will come back and what's more, you can see the menu of the week on Facebook, it's practical, I recommend, if you like well the sweet and salty, you will not be disappointed, keep it up!

28/04/2024: Top notch cuisine! A restaurant is judged by cuisine + service: Special welcome from a 25 year old waitress who does not reflect the dishes subsequently served. Not knowing your dishes or the way they are cooked is a big downside for me. There is a big difference between waitress and plate holder! The ordered wine arrived already opened on the table, a shame for the COUNTRY of Gastronomy and viticulture, and the table in juxtaposition to ours had its deserts and mint tea placed like dirty things. Two people sitting on the kitchen worktops when paying also look bad. But don't stay on simple impressions because the food, the presentation and the balance of spices in the dishes are one of the most enjoyable restaurants in Calais. A little extra for the chef's ice creams (Paco surely) and the purees which reveal the taste buds, a marvel. Terrific value for money. I highly recommend despite the service.
