Parking is paid and there are people: you might as well take advantage of hiking during the day. That said, the waterfalls are impressive, and there are several hikes to do.

I loved this place. From the Pont d'Espagne, I was able to take a hike to the magnificent Lac de Gaube. Then continue towards Mount Vignemale, discovering grandiose and beautiful landscapes and mountain ranges.

29/03/2024: Ugh, Very expensive for the quality of the cuisine. The duck lacks taste, cooking was not respected. On the other hand, the fries are very good.
23/03/2024: Local products, delicious dishes, especially the fondue! Quality service, an intimate room, I highly recommend!

01/04/2024: Very nice discovery. Impeccable service, calm and pleasant atmosphere. The site is remarkable, at the foot of the waterfalls. I recommend and we will come back.
01/04/2024: An exceptional place in an exceptional setting. The welcome is warm, the service is attentive with little touches that make the difference. The cuisine combines tradition and modernity, with original proposals and careful presentation. Congratulations to the team behind the scenes, who we can guess are passionate. It is now an obligatory stop on each of our visits to Cauterets. If you have to choose just one, this is the shelter you should head to.
