Querelle sur Amiens

Very nice to be able to taste 8 different dishes and 4 desserts (there were 5 of us), everything was delicious, the welcome was very friendly, and the decor was original and funny. The wines were very good. We had an excellent evening !

Excellent cuisine. Nice wine list. Impeccable service and a room with an appropriate atmosphere for both a romantic meal and an evening with friends. Honestly I will come back as soon as possible.

Baroque, refined, elegant, pleasant, to discover, for the setting, the dishes and the hosts and have an excellent time. I live in Amiens and although I go to restaurants too little for my taste, I have already been to Querelle twice and I will return there again when the opportunity arises. I leave this message here and in English, because working internationally, I know that it is important for tourists arriving in a city to choose a restaurant without asking questions. At Querelle, you will encounter: 1) a baroque setting and decor, unique, original, refined worked (like your hosts) 2) dishes that combine tradition, reference to inherited family dishes and terroirs or revisited recreated invented, developed with products selected for their quality, accompanied by wines from small producers met, chosen, even found 3) entire bosses, dedicated staff: the customer is king? no, because they love the customers precisely and if you are the king, then they would be the servants and the other customers would be neglected... It's more subtle: they want and will do everything possible to ensure that you have a wonderful time, advising you well, serving you well, pampering you well. Without concession, for your greatest pleasure, with respect and complicity. The price ? more than a fast food restaurant, less than a starred restaurant, completely affordable and above all largely justified by the quality of the time spent and the dishes and wines tasted. Go there with your eyes closed or wide open ;)

I share most of the opinions, it's an original concept, the decoration is also original, you can't walk past it without stopping. The meal was good, the wine too. The service was also very good. The price is correct VS the quality of the products (seasonal).

By far my favorite Amiens restaurant. Eating at Querelle means entering the inimitable world of Yann and Hervé. The menu of dishes to share (or not) is tight (always a good sign) and changes regularly. If you are lucky enough to have him there on the day of your visit, you MUST have a banoffee. The chocolate mousse, served directly from the soup tureen, is also to die for. I don't remember a disappointing dish, by the way. The service is a little long, it’s true. Perhaps because your hosts for the evening take the time to chat with their guests? It’s the best way to enjoy an evening in a magical world. Allow around fifty euros per head if you take wine. But clearly, you are not being robbed: Querelle is worth them!
