O'napoli sur Civray

A little gem in a gorgeous location. This pizza restaurant is very quaint with a mixture of chic and childish decor (see if you can spot the ninja turtle!) which I absolutely love. The waitress was very tentative and spoke English (phew) and very helpful with explanations of the menu. There's an excellent selection of wines and beers with an even more comprehensive selection of gorgeous pizzas. Everything was fresh and ready very quickly, the pizza dough was delicious! If you're lucky enough to try the locally grown strawberries, please do, I have never tasted anything like them, bursting with intense sweet flavour! I would definitely recommend this place and if I'm in Civray again I will definitely be coming back.

Very nice discovery. The place is very well decorated, the service impeccable, the welcome is warm and friendly (I did not understand the negative opinions on this subject). It is advisable to reserve if you wish to eat on site (otherwise you can take away). In terms of cuisine, excellent pizze like in Naples, it reminded me of my last Neapolitan vacation, what a joy! We tried Parma, Borgia, Margherita and one whose name I forgot but delicious (cream base, goat cheese, ham, arugula). The dough is really good, that’s worth noting. The tiramisu is a treat and the panna cotta (without gelatin!) is to die for. We will be back very soon, thank you for your excellent work.
