Very nice dishes - special mention for the truffle fries -, clean and precise cocktails - an espresso martini that kicks off the evening - and a playlist that gets you excited. A good neighborhood bar, all in simplicity and conviviality.

J'ai trouvé que la portion de mon plat était bien servie, et surtout c'était très bon ! Donc je dirais : bon rapport qualité/prix. La rue est assez calme donc la terrasse est très agréable.

L'endroit est sympa, le menu appétissant, mais grosse déception sur les plats : des portions ridicules (1 cuillère de guacamole et une quesadilla sans garniture pour 11,50€, 3 gnocchis dans le plat végétarien "Gnocchis de patate douce" à 17€, une stracciatella inexistante dans le plat "Stracciatella" à 18€...). Et le goût ne rattrape rien :( on n'a même pas pris de dessert même si on avait encore faim vu le niveau des 5 autres plats commandés...

Brasserie L'esplanade

31/03/2024: We had a pleasant time. The server was pleasant.
24/02/2024: February 2024 update: so good! Brasserie with good classics, generous portions, sunny bay window on a winter day, very pleasant service... tarin tart at the top, as always! 😋 January 2022: I returned yesterday and today to this brasserie after a few years of absence, due to the unpleasant service. The place is still in a south-facing location facing the Bois de Vincennes (what joy in winter!), certainly a little rustic/historic but the staff is pleasant and the dishes (reduced menu) are good and generous, that's good a neighborhood brasserie, with a good terrace and very rarely with queues (except on the terrace in summer). I'll be back!

Le VIP Paris

10/03/2024: A good pizzeria, near Bercy station (great possibility of having a hot meal seated rather than a sandwich on the edge of a platform or on a train). Order taken quickly by pleasant and friendly staff but who tend to forget a little quickly what was ordered. We were served a little late (but it seems that we can say that we are in a hurry). Regarding the pizzas, a little expensive for the quality and quantity of toppings offered, even if it is still reasonable. Very good tasting, the dough would benefit from being a little less dry and thick. A completely correct set.
03/03/2024: Very good address! Excellent pizzas and very smiling and friendly staff!
