I'm not a fan of French cuisine, but in every place I visit, I try to try local dishes and dishes typical of a given region. I must admit that I was very positively surprised in this restaurant that specializes in French cuisine. Foie gras served with jam, bread and goose fat was absolutely delicious, and the main course, a roasted lamb shank with potato and vegetable purée, even more pleased my palate. All this with a glass of excellent French wine. I visited the restaurant some time ago - I see that the decor and menu have changed a bit, but I am convinced that the chef and waiters will make sure that everyone feels special in this place.

Recent change of ownership and team and the nugget that it was is no longer there. Too bad it wasn't announced from the start because apart from the furniture, nothing is the same. (New addition in the WC: old bedside lamp taped to the toilet paper holder with an extension which passes under the door while the light is working). Keeping photos and reviews of the old restaurant is misleading, bordering on dishonest. Young professional waiter and the food is good. Too bad the presentation is more than average for the price.

Surprising, an address where we go and that we love, today we went there and it was catastrophic! It felt like we were in another bad restaurant in Nice 😫🧐😫🧐There were two of us, I have never felt so cold while eating... .we order a rosé wine, they open another one for us because the one we ordered had more 👿…… Grrrr the dishes are meh apart from the tagliata! A horribly unpleasant old man yelled at the waitress in front of us
I tell you it was a weird Sunday….. but not a good experience we were very disappointed too bad…!

The main dining room was full of reservations but we managed to get into their second dining room behind Aqui. Awesome food with attentive waiters. Bottle of red, 1 appetizer and 2 mains for 90 euro.

This place was an absolute delight. In our 5 nights at Nice, we ate here twice and did takeaway once! Giovanni was a thoughtful, charming host. The food was fresh, delicious and inventive. If I go back to Nice I would certainly go back! We ate the buratta salad, sea food linguine, beef steak and Niçoise salad and all of it was so so so good!

The food here was exceptional. We got a pesto gnocchi and a chicken in mushroom sauce - both were made perfectly. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. Would definitely return

The à la carte suggestions can be served as a starter or main course.
If in main course, the proportions are slightly more generous, there is however no accompaniment offered! It's good but a shame at this price to leave hungry...
