A neighborhood bar that has everything! The staff is friendly and authentic, everything is very good without being too loud, the place is pretty. You can even rent a small private room at the back for matches and birthdays :) (And a big fan of weekend couscous!)

Great evening spent at Stendhal! Room adjacent to the bar reserved for a birthday. Good atmosphere. Impeccable welcome and service. Good cocktails and great chicken burger :) History lessons of the street and its businesses as a bonus!

Le Stendhal is the bar-restaurant you dream of having near your home. I'm so lucky, and not a week goes by without me going down there for breakfast, lunch or drinks with friends. Regular clientele, staff always attentive, professional and welcoming, and let's be serious for two seconds: since Nazim took over the establishment and placed Stefan as head chef, the level has risen. One of the best addresses in Gambetta, go there with your eyes closed, without trusting the opinions of a century ago! Thank you Le Stendhal!

I reserved the private room at Stendhal for around twenty people and I was delighted with the service. We had a magnificent buffet (hot, cold, salads, cheese, cold meats, etc.), the room is very cozy and pleasant, it overlooks the Stendhal villa with large bay windows and tables at the outside. The Stendhal team took great care and we had a very good evening! Thanks to Nazim and the team!

30/03/2024: Where to have dinner after the show? At Gladines. The restaurant remains open late in the evening. Disparate decoration which gives the place its character. Relatively young clientele the evening we came. The menu is not extensive, a sign that the cuisine is authentic and homemade. This is the case when the veal escalope au gratin arrives. A dish, let's say... rich! Even a little too rich for a dinner but ultimately if we wanted something lighter, there are salads on the menu! Efficient and smiling service. The only downside is that the atmosphere in this restaurant can quickly become deafening. But that’s the price of success!
