Le Safran sur Trets

I came to eat with my dad one lunchtime during a getaway to the old lands where my grandfather lived. We feasted. Favorite for rouille served with fried squid 💫 Perfect service, charming staff, fresh menu! Vegetables that accompany the perfect dishes. Seasoning too. Proposal to improve even more: perhaps choose a special flour country bread such as sourdough or spelled, the baguette served in the basket is very white compared to the rest but we don't care, we don't stuff ourselves with bread during a meal, except for sauce. I don't know if life will be able/will cause us to come back here one day but in any case we recommend it! Manon & Christian

Simply incredible. Tested several times and it is excellent. The lovely staff, I can’t believe they don’t have a better rating. Clearly deserves to be sold out several months in advance and probably would be in a more populated city. Excellent food, I highly recommend.

Satisfying experience at Saffron. Very calm, pleasant, smiling, fast and competent service. The dishes are decent, with incredible presentation. Unfortunately some of the dishes we tried were a little bland even though the flavors were there, waiting to be enhanced. An almost tasteless rouille with the rest of the dish yet very good for the squid. A burger with appetizing ingredients for me and which I enjoyed despite the heaviness, I chose my side! It's hard to tell the difference between a classic and angus steak with so many ingredients, but it was good :). A good fish for my guest, which was tasty and well prepared. In the end positive, but a small question regarding the cuisine and the concessions made on certain dishes (bland rust, sorry it doesn't work..., high quality steak but drowned in an overflow of ingredients... ) which do not live up to such an inventive menu, in my opinion. Thank you for this pleasant meal :).

The only real restaurant in Trets! Quality cuisine and service. Fair prices considering the quality. Impeccable cleanliness. After 6 visits in 2 years I have never been disappointed.

We spent our Valentine's Day evening there. Inventive and excellent cuisine. Top notch staff. Friendly setting. Very nice little touches. What more. We will gladly come back.
