We had dinner and breakfast during a camper van stop. Super quality local products and top service. We love it and will come back.

Ideal anchor point for visiting the castles of the Loire, notably Chenonceau. The architectural ensemble of the walled city and the magnificent park prolong the pleasure of dining. Our stay was very pleasant after 2 days of work. The team is very professional and attentive. Special thanks to one of the hotel owners who kindly drove us to our meeting, as we had forgotten to book a taxi in advance... :S
You must try the restaurant, it is very good!

L'association des coureurs Richelais "Ascori" organisait son repas de début d'année hier soir. Merci au Puits Doré, c'était parfait, nous étions tous ravis de notre soirée.

Amatrice de bons restaurants et fidèle cliente du puits doré, ce restaurant est et restera mon coup de coeur , du service , à l'accueil en passant par la cuisine tout est sans fausse note , vous y trouverez des produits cuisinés et locaux, nous allons testé la semaine prochaine le service petit déjeuner , trop hâte vu ce qu'il propose. Un grand merci à Olivier et son équipe. A très vite Kevin et Charlotte 😁🥰

I feel as if I’ve reviewed this terrific hotel many times for different websites, but I’m happy to add another few comments. I always enjoy returning to the Puits Doré. The dinners seem to have got even better over the last couple of years. I don’t know if the chef is new, but s/he is really excellent. It’s a consistently very good hotel in one of my favourite towns anywhere. Visit soon. I know I will!
