Le Phare Saint Louis is a creperie in Saint Germain en Laye. The place is large and they accept reservations. The service is correct. We went for dinner on a Friday night without a reservation and we didn't have to wait. The galettes have a correct price of around 11 euros. I liked the ingredients: organic flour and a good product in general, with flavor. The price was 17 euros per person with a good quality-price ratio.

I highly recommend this creperie whose starters, main courses and desserts are of high quality. The service is fast and the waiters/waitresses are very pleasant.

I'm coming out of lunch at the Phare creperie in Saint Germain en Laye! My message below received a response, telling me to come and see that my comments had been taken into account! I didn't dare believe it and yet! Lunch today made me really happy; I actually found the texture of a good buckwheat pancake, crispy and a little thicker than during my last two visits. The dessert crepe also lived up to my expectations! Thank you very much for considering your customers' opinions! We recognize true professionals who accept criticism in order to continue to provide satisfaction. I will return with pleasure. Keep it up with generosity in the toppings and the quality of the products. So yes, the service is friendly and fast but where has the quality of the good crepes of a few years ago gone?! Before the buckwheat pancakes were a little thick, crispy and well filled. Today the savory crepes are super thin, a little moist and the toppings are lukewarm on top! What a pity! When asked about the subject, a member of the team told me "we just changed the flour"!. No, because, even by changing flour, we must be able to rediscover the deliciousness and texture of good Breton pancakes! I even suggested that they increase their prices a little but add more dough and take the time to make them crispy! Disappointed twice in September and October, I will not return to this creperie, if nothing changes!
