Hello to anybody that is reading this, I am from the Aegean city of Izmir (Smyrna) and have lived in the Aegean cost for almost all my life, where a lot of shared dishes also known as mezze (like tapas) are common and well made. Although Paris has a lot of places that have mezze dishes The Petite Phoenician not only has the most exquisite tasting dishes but also the purest and simplest. They are truly a taste of home away from home even though they are prepared in the verry tasty Levantine style and not the Aegean. While in Paris anyone with a craving for Eastern Mediterranean food should order a table of mezze dishes to enjoy with friends and a bottle of ouzo.
