L'Authre Bistro sur Paris

I think I have just had the best burger I have ever eaten: "L'Auvergnat". I have a little French, so the very charming server asked if I wanted the burger "au point" and I said yes, of course. Such is not permitted in Canada and, there, burgers are at best medium. Of course I want a burger cooked for maximum taste pleasure. Well it came a little more cooked than what is called "au point" elsewhere, but only barely, and it turns out that's just what I like. The farm cheese on the burger was exquisite. I think the tomato sauce was house made: sweet and fresh. But the bun! Holy smokes, it was perfect. Not as sweet as a brioche, but with that perfect delicate crust. Maybe this is what brioche is supposed to be. I also ordered beer. Demory Paris, which I had never had. But I have a skilled French friend who taught me about French beer (the wine is justly famous but it's unfair that it eclipses such excellent beer). So I knew enough to choose from the beer menu! Yeah. This place is a reason to come to Paris all by itself.

The Aligot is extremely good, I would say it's a must try. The duck confit also very good, but I would've preferred if it were crispier. The beef steak was delicious.

Happy to find the Passage team which was sold to L'Annex de la Petite Perigourdine Same quality of dishes, same atmosphere and my favorite waitress is there I will definitely go back I recommend the charcuterie board. It is of superior quality. Don’t hesitate to stop at the Annex, you won’t be disappointed

Directly opposite our hotel and always well attended. This couldn't be a coincidence. Tried it out and found it to be very good for Paris standards. Price/performance is absolutely right. The burger was cooked to perfection and the salad was delicious. Clear recommendation!

My wife had a salad with shrimp and avocado. The salad was beautifully prepared and tasted very good. I tried it too. I had the Le Cheese with fries. Plus point: I was asked how I would like the pattie. I ordered medium cooking point and received it exactly that way. The burger was world class. The fries came with a sauce that I can't define. But this was very tasty. A visit here is worth it.

We ate here two nights in a row, a testament to how much we liked it. Reservations are recommended since it was busy both nights, but they accommodated us the first night for an early dinner. Great food and friendly service

The food was tasty but the first impression of the restaurant was not that good. We were set down at the dirty table and I had to ask the server to clean it because he didn’t noticed it. The whole restaurant needs a good clean up.

Located in the heart of the fifth arrondissement, the Aennxe is an establishment with charming and typically “franchouillarde” decoration. Although the food is quite good and generous, the service leaves you wanting more. Indeed, forgotten orders, limited or absent polite expressions, duplicates, very long service and so on... We quickly notice a lack of communication in the team, a shame that this can be felt so much.
