At the top this restaurant I recommend

Disappointed by the origin of the meats...just chopped steak and andouillette of French origin. The rest are flank steak from England, chicken from Poland, duck breast from Bulgaria and lamb from New Zealand. The virgin rider salad is good and original

We came Saturday evening. Good experience despite the crowds present to enjoy the good weather on the terrace. We were served by Maud and Jonathan, two very friendly and professional waiters, who made the evening even more pleasant. The dishes were quite good and original. The only downside: a tattooed waiter who made derogatory remarks to his own colleagues (who were working!) in front of customers. I found this behavior rather inappropriate, and it made our group uncomfortable several times. Luckily it wasn't useful to us. For the rest, the atmosphere of the place is very good.

Pleasant evening at the Annex, we were taken care of by Maud and Jonathan who were pleasant and smiling during the service despite the large crowds of the evening. There was no more lemon meringue pie, surely a victim of their success! However, the rest of the menu is just as good. I highly recommend

A restaurant in the heart of the city recommended for a lunch break! An original atmosphere, especially the play on words in the menu. The dishes are good and the prices are reasonable, especially given the quantity. Recommended 👌👌

Atmosphere and kindness await you. THANKS But the Cesar salad is very vinegary and I find it very expensive.

This was supposed to be a nice Sunday evening after a relaxing visit to a gorgeous town of Chartres. While many places to eat where closed on Sundays-Mondays, we tried Barsserie l'AnneXe for its look and a nice outside set-up for a dinner around 18.00. But, while the young waiter was very attentive, caring and nice (but in a situation where he was alone for service, as we have learned later), we were disappointed that the kitchen was still not working (the place was to be open from 12 till 22.00 with no metion what-so-ever that there is a different time-table for the kitchen) and, despited being asked by the said waiter to patient for 30-40 mins (over drinks), we could not see anything happening till 19.10 but just late staff coming in casually at that time. Thus, not wanting to build further tension (mounting on our side) we left - with a bitter feeling that we have fallen victims of a rather poor organization and information for the etablisement... That is a message for the manager / owner of the place, while we stay appreciative for the kindness of waiter of that time.

Fast service and very pleasant and smiling waitress. Simple but good dinner. I recommend this establishment.
