Cafe de la poissonerie sur Vannes

A local friend told us about this address, telling us "it's a bistro in its original form but it's known to be an institution". Well he was right. The service is attentive, especially towards our 2 year old son. We came in low season and yet the places were well taken at 12:05 p.m. We feel that it is an address known to residents. The cuisine is generous and delicious, especially the specialty croques (monsieur, madame, country or salmon) and homemade fries! In short, a place with history far from the tourist destinations!

Atypical place but with generous cuisine

Superb country croque madame. Between tradition and gastronomy you have found the right place. Laurent and Clarisse spoil you with a smile and kindness every day. Café that has kept its soul. Period decoration. Perfect ! I recommend, but don't all come at the same time!

Our "go-to" fish restaurant in Vannes centre ville ! Really good atmosphere, food and draught Duchesse Ann for real-ale drinkers too !

Bonne ambiance fin de marché, repère d'habitué, pour déguster des plats de brasserie à prix raisonnables dans une tout petite salle au décor vintage. Accueil sympa. On recommande.

Meilleurs croques monsieur au monde de loin ! Toujours très agréable de venir manger dans ce petit bar restaurant, on y ressort sans avoir faim et en plus .. c'est bon :) Bref je recommande fortement
