Brasserie Paul sur Rouen

The place is ideally located at the foot of the cathedral, which gives it a beautiful terrace with a view. The food is good (the Normandy entrecôte is excellent). The service is a little long (but there were a lot of people) but the staff is friendly. A good brasserie for a good lunch overall.

Excellent establishment. Nothing to complain about. Just the hand dryer (lol)! A family address and we Continue the tradition...

We had lunch on the terrace here on a nice Sunday afternoon in May. It’s definitely a well located restaurant in the center of Rouen, with an amazing view of the cathedral. I went for the meal of the day, which is 13.90€ and was veal with a thyme sauce and side. They had cauliflower flan as the default side but exchanging it with pommes frites was not a problem at all. The meal arrived quickly and the veal was tender and went really well with the sauce. The fries were home-made and delicious. Overall a great meal for a very reasonable price considering the quality and location! They also have a solid selection of drinks and the cider I had was amazing, very crisp and refreshing. Despite looking a bit like a tourist trap, this is a very good restaurant and they must be doing something right for being there for such a long time (since 1898 to be precise).

Very long and unpleasant service. Nevertheless, the dishes are very good for a very reasonable price. You must, however, be on a good day to be able to fully enjoy the location and the quality of the dishes...

Still so good! After trying the croque-monsieur during our first visit, this time we chose the grilled salmon with pistou, the andouillette 4A and the Nordic tartine. Everyone was delighted! Really very very good!!!

Service a little long but the meal was quality for a fair price. Very beautiful view of the cathedral from the terrace. It has the advantage of being quiet without passing cars. I liked that they offered products from traders in Rouen and the surrounding area.

Too much waiting on the terrace. The table not cleared and dirty. A waitress who had been there for 3 days told us. We asked for ice cream and they brought us mini scoops and not the flavors requested. To flee...

I really liked everything, the food, the service and the atmosphere. The waiters worked in teams of two in a large hall and were on time. And the location is absolutely superb, overlooking the Rouen Cathedral. It differs for the better from most establishments located near tourist attractions.
