Bistrot de L'Oulette sur Paris

A small bistro where you eat very well! I had a vegetable mille-feuille, a cassoulet and their apple crisp for dessert, perfect!! Don't forget to book though because the room is small!

Server not very friendly. Disappointed by the desserts (not entirely successful). Good foie gras.

On the recommendation of friends we go to this Bistro, which is small, very welcoming and has very kind staff. The dishes ordered were good. Good wine list. Price in line with what we ate.

A renowned minor temple a la gastronomie gascogne  (Gascony: southwest France: Engands first colony for nos amis Americains). Reservations recommandees., although by 20h30 (8:30pm a nos amis Americains) the mostly French-speaking European clientele had finished dining in the delightful ambience of a near-perfect French bistrot catering to lovers of cassoulet and soupe a l'escargot and had departed, leaving the about 30 covers to the newly arrived American tourists seeking "the French bistrot ambience" which of course then disappeared under the hooting anglophone American loudness (don't they have any formes de politesses Aux E-Unis?).  Self-defeating. BUT the food is excellent, the service strict and efficient comme il faut - Juste arrive avant les phoques !.

Disappointed by this second visit. The food remains good but the service was confusing and the atmosphere between the members of the staff was not the most friendly... Without wanting to quibble, the knives used to cut our breasts were not suitable and the operation was abandoned. rather laborious which spoiled the tasting a little.

Delicious food. Excellent cassoulet. Welcoming vibe.
