Marseille-6E, Marseille
20/05/2024: We ate at this restaurant this Saturday evening May 4th with my friend, although the food was good we have a few criticisms. Let’s start with the best part: the starters! The vegetable tacos and asparagus accompanied by an olive crumble were very good. A big highlight for this delicious introduction. A spicy, tasty and fresh taco. Now the worst: - The quantities offered for the price are quite disappointing. I know that working with organic and local products is expensive, but I admit that the bill is a little steep when the starters cost €10 each. The dishes are 16€ which is not huge, but the quantity is not suitable for a starter + main course at 26€. - The service is not exactly what you are looking for when you go to a restaurant that offers a blackboard menu with products from organic farming. No explanation of dishes, no initiative in the sales force, no manners as line managers and rapid adaptation to service disruptions. My conclusion to this meal would surely have been more dithyrambic if the service explained its menu a little, if the dishes were a little more generous, if the clearing of our table had not started while we were standing nearby in trying to leave and finally if the prices were adapted to the hunger present after the meal. I think this place has a very bright future ahead of it, because we sense a certain know-how in the kitchen. Some rework seems to be necessary, but I have great hope! Good luck.
20/05/2024: Absolutely not suitable for tourists! It's a very noisy, uncomfortable place. With an incomprehensible menu, unfriendly staff, unreasonably high prices and primitive food. The case when money is taken not for the quality of food and service, but for the fact that it is "vegan" (vegans will understand🥲). We came to the opening, but we were asked to wait in a not very pleasant tone:/ After that, it was worth leaving, but we decided to stay and give this restaurant another chance and….*Spoiler alert*…Which was a mistake! The menu in this institution is completely missing. Rather, they call the “menu” a board in the corner of the restaurant, where something they call the "menu of the day" is written in illegible handwriting. My friends, who know French couldn't make out these scribbles. As for me, who don't know French, I didn't even have the slightest chance. Listening to the description of dishes verbally in bad English from a waiter, with a dissatisfied face, because she does not like speaking English, in this noisy place, is an unrealistic task! The dishes turned out to be extremely mediocre. Desserts too. Even bottled Drinks are overprice. A huge bill and an unpleasant aftertaste from poor service. That's what my friends and I got instead of a delicious dinner. Dear restaurateurs, with your high prices, at least, you can quite afford to buy a couple of sheets of paper and print your menu, and not force your guests to look for it somewhere in the corner of the restaurant. But you will not do this, because judging by your attitude towards the guests, the convenience of visitors worries you the least💩🤡
