22/05/2024: Excellent gastronomy with impeccable service and a very intimate atmosphere!

16/05/2024: I am posting this comment after having seen most of the great stars of Lyon. We had reservations at this restaurant for our first wedding anniversary on 05/15/22 and we describe the evening as being the worst experience in the list of all our regional “great gastronomy” experiments, despite all the good recommendations we received. made about this place. The establishment forced us to eat pork despite our multiple warnings (It would be an allergen we would have ended up in the hospital). And as an excuse we just had the right to a comic book that we offered to each customer. We still bitterly regret this experience and recommend all the other starred establishments in the city which have pleased us much more with their professionalism, their seriousness and their attention to detail that we must demand from an establishment of this "renowned". Now when the service of a nice establishment asks us, “do you have any dietary indispositions”, I feel obliged to answer “don’t do like at Eugénie Brazier, don’t serve us pork please!” » We wanted to point out this gross error which was never compensated or made up for by the establishment with the slightest little gesture that one could have expected from the “Brazier experience” that we came for. We would therefore describe this restaurant as “strongly avoid” to be polite and we would probably never return there. Best regards.

17/03/2024: Great time in this restaurant. A first with a good table (8 people), everyone had a great time. The dishes were delicious with good portions. Beyond the quality of the dishes, the presentation is beautiful. As for the service....excellent! I will come back with pleasure, I recommend!! And then....what a pleasure to have a 100 plant-based menu in addition to being of quality and delicious 🫶🏻

02/04/2024: DELICIOUS We had a wonderful time at l'Etage, with its atypical, warm and very pleasant setting (few tables which made the moment even more unique). The dishes are all tastier (and more beautiful) than the others, always with explanations and anecdotes from the chef, who transmits his passion. THANKS !

03/04/2024: Service like at home🤩 Authentic cuisine like at home ❤️ A timeless atmosphere like a Proust madeleine which intoxicated us with happiness 😁 A chef who puts all his love into each dish, I, who am in love with love, found fresh flavors there, without frills, and so much love in the dishes that I can only recommend with great affection and human warmth 😋 The veal rice is the best I have ever tasted!!! 🤩 Well done !!! 30/03/2024: Top there is no better place than this to taste the true Lyonese gastronomy... From the appetizers to the final coffee they are worth it. Special mention to the 🍷Domain de Louis crozes hermittage and the praline cake... As I usually say; pleasure of Gods...

01/04/2024: I was struck by the refined and inventive cuisine of Carré Royal. This impression was confirmed during our second visit. The chef highlights beautiful products, the plate is superb. Excellent cheeses and very fine desserts. A beautiful wine list and wise advice: the owners have selected the wines carefully and know how to talk about them. The welcome is warm, as is the setting. A very nice address in Lyon to absolutely discover!

30/03/2024: L'ambiance et le service excellent. La sonorisation est très mauvaise, beaucoup de bruit on entendait très mal. Sinon rien à redire du reste au top

19/05/2024: While passing through Lyon, we found at the Opéra cork exactly what we were hoping for! A very warm welcome, homemade cuisine with delicious typical dishes that we were able to pair with a very good natural wine! All in an incredible, traditional setting. A special mention for the pike quenelle, very generous in fish! A real treat!

29/05/2024: A good dinner with refined cuisine and original tastes. The starters were interesting (hummus and terrine), the main dishes could have been a little more spicy for my taste (the risotto in particular). The dessert (baba au rhum) was a notch below the other dishes. A good address with quality service and a smile. I will return there with pleasure.

29/05/2024: Very good evening with really top cuisine. The can was delicious. Very pleasant service. And superb decor! The wines are a little expensive but otherwise everything is perfect!
