05/05/2024: Surprising establishment. Great welcome, great restaurant (from starter to dessert), comfortable bedding, perfect value for money. The building is old (therefore quite poorly soundproofed) but perfectly renovated. I was surprised by the shower in the room. The age of the building is the only “weak point” of this establishment with its unbeatable quality/price/service ratio. The restaurant really delighted me (the menu was delicious from starter to dessert).

15/05/2024: On our cycling trip 🚲 short lunch stop at La Galoche: excellent welcome and very good cuisine.

14/05/2024: We spent one night in the cottage, which was very clean. The couple is very nice, Robert makes excellent pizzas and breakfast with homemade jam (there is even watermelon jam)

A table where all the senses are aroused, a real discovery where beautiful presentation rhymes with unique flavoursome delicate ingredients. As for the service more foam than fizz reason for a 4 stars mark despite the extremely accommodating team

26/04/2024: A pleasant taste experience. Creative and sophisticated dishes. Strokes of genius like this deliciously surprising Cantal rhubarb accord. A menu of the chef's choice, but allergies and other constraints are requested upon reservation and before ordering. A very nice drinks menu A pleasant and warm setting.

14/05/2024: An original cuisine, well mastered, that we are not used to having in so-called traditional restaurants. The welcome is great, from making telephone appointments to the service. We had a great time. Plan to walk about ten minutes when you are in the historic center of Le Puy, it is very accessible however. Remember to book, because I think that such a good table, with few cutlery, is quickly taken by storm, especially during tourist periods. Thank you again for this great moment

02/04/2024: The very famous place, disappointed us a little firstly our table for 2 is located near a door very unpleasant place of passage, our discovery menu at 55 euros disappointed us on the description of the site it was written starter, fish, meat , cheese and dessert. for our starter we had 2 asparagus, one white and one green, which was well prepared and with a beautiful presentation, for the rest we had 1 ravioli garnished with porcini mushrooms and 2 morels always with a very beautiful presentation, no fish, one meat, pigeon the still minimalist quantity a breast and a leg, the desserts and the cheese platter are excellent, to finish a perfect coffee. Despite its small inconveniences, I am very satisfied with the time spent

12/03/2024: Small passage through the restaurant, a little disappointing... The room was not heated enough for our liking for the month of March. The quantities were not there for our menu, but the most surprising thing remains the cheese: a supplement of €7 (!) per person for 3 small pieces of slightly dry cheese... Disappointed ...

04/04/2024: Magical and intimate place with delicious cuisine, too bad there is no children's menu. Special mention for the confit egg and asparagus starter as well as the pear and hay dessert, a delight! We will come back.
