Really mixed impression, beautiful place, polite and discreet service, however disappointment with the cuisine and the prices charged
menu for 130 euros with food and wine pairing for 80 euros
the portions are really very very small, for example the asparagus from the torches, there were three small pieces, not even a whole asparagus!!!!!
overcooked poultry, and to finish a rhubarb dessert with a vanilla insert, much too stuck to the gelatin, really not good. for the rest the tastes are there, but it lacks relief
So yes, I have very mixed feelings about this restaurant, compared to other Michelin-starred restaurants in Finistère.

Being a belly on dough I can tell you that I was served! I really enjoyed it, the pancakes are really well filled!
No regrets!
And then the site is great, a little digestive walk before leaving: that's what we call a successful day! ☀️

04/04/2024: Very nice establishment with a view of the river. Beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. However, there is a downside when you book an evening stopover for €99. You are only allowed one dish and of course no choice, fortunately the one offered that evening suited me. If you take extra drinks or even a dessert, because obviously you are still hungry, report it straight away so that it is noted in the hotel and not on the restaurant cash register because it is not the same and plus it irritates the manager. In short, it's anything but a stopover evening. That said, apart from this detail it is a good address.

13/05/2024: After a long walk, we arrived in Pont Aven in front of this hotel located in the city center. Right away, we felt like a young and friendly team who wanted everything to be a success. We had a taxi problem which was resolved during the night and all this with a big smile...
On the restaurant side, there too, a very nice surprise...We will come back without having walked as much to enjoy it better.
Thank you all for your welcome worthy of a hotel with one or two extra stars. Beautiful day

Ideally located opposite the port.

05/04/2024: We spent a lovely 3 weeks at Goelia - lovely to have an indoor pool for a dip - our apartment had a terrace and outdoor furniture and was warm and well furnished and had everything we needed. Pont Aven is a lovely place to visit and the Residence was perfect location
