12/05/2024: Very good restaurant. The waitress was very friendly, professional and efficient. A great choice in the menu from starter to dessert including aperitif and wines. Everything was tempting. Very nicely presented dishes. It was excellent. Well cooked and well seasoned as required. Very satisfied. I'll be back.

Arriving with very good expectations but we were hungry when we left, we left after having eaten very well in a relaxing and calm setting with magnificent dishes both in presentation and flavor. A discreet service but attentive to customers and always to satisfy us. It will have to be done again.

16/05/2024: This little restaurant has a prime position overlooking the small square and the harbour that forms the heart of Locquirec. It was a busy public holiday when we arrived, so we weren't able to get a table on the terrace - but the inside is pleasant enough. The greeting from the (assumed) owner was friendly and professional, and she worked incredibly hard to keep (almost literally) all the plates spinning, but the service deteriorated throughout the rest of the meal until, tired of waiting for the dessert we had ordered, we asked for the bill, paid and left. As for the food........we quite enjoyed the starter of oysters. My goat's cheese salad was basic, but acceptable. My husband's main course from the set menu was bavette in a sauce, with frites - the meat was almost all gristle and quite inedible and the frites were no better than ok. His mainly untouched meal was removed without comment or enquiry from the waiter. As mentioned, we ordered a dessert to share which never arrived...... Based on our experience, I would say that La Presqu'ile's is a no-frills offering at a relatively low price - nothing wrong with that (who needs fancy presentation?) but the food needs to be edible. Perhaps judging them on their performance on a very busy public holiday is unfair, but we felt the service needed sharpening up and clearly there was some quality control lacking in the kitchen. A shame, really, as it really is a great position in a lovely seaside village, and the hard working person in charge deserved better support.

12/05/2024: Bel endroit avec une serveuse plus que sympathique ! Menu simple mais excellent, le buffet froid d entrée est une excellente idée ! Le plat très bien cuit et viande de bonne qualité. Et en guise d accompagnement, la terrasse vue sur mer ! A recommander!

07/02/2024: Always a very good quality meat served with real fries cooked in beef fat. A good little restaurant to discover in Châteaulin if you haven't already!
