We miss such friendly little restaurants in Cagnes sur Mer. So we stopped to eat on our return.. Very good homemade dishes... A great address to try with your eyes closed.. Looking forward to Florence and Alain

11/05/2024: Great atmosphere, in a pittoresque Provençal village square. Friendly, but slow, service. We only had coffee and dessert, so cannot evaluate the food. Certainly worth stopping by, but go early to get a table.

09/05/2024: Ici, on est loin de la désinvolture et de la cuisine surgelée d'Antibes! Accueil sobre mais sympathique, la place est charmante sous les arbres, la cuisine est de qualité, et le service remarquable de gentillesse et d'attention.

18/05/2024: I recently went to lunch at La Barricade restaurant and was absolutely delighted by the dining experience I had there. Each dish was a true masterpiece both visually and taste-wise. To start, the zucchini flower fritters were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were served with a small fresh salad which added a touch of greenness and crunch. My partner chose the burrata with pesto rosso on a bed of asparagus. The burrata was deliciously creamy, and the pesto rosso added an extra pop of flavor that paired perfectly with the fresh, crunchy asparagus. For the main course, I enjoyed the roasted quail, served with prune sauce and creamy polenta. The quail was tender and juicy, with rich, well-balanced flavors. The polenta complemented the dish perfectly with its smooth and creamy texture. The setting of the restaurant is just as impressive, with an intimate atmosphere and a presentation of dishes worthy of a great gourmet restaurant. The service was also impeccable, with attentive and professional staff. I highly recommend La Barricade to all lovers of good cuisine. An unforgettable culinary experience!
