RESTAURANT LE PEROUSIN sur Cagnes-Sur-Mer

I love this place. It is probably the third time I have eaten here over a span of twenty five years. When I ran into the owner on my first night in the town, a town I love and have been to since 1983, I asked if she could make soupe de poisson. She told me yes and, lo and behold, it was a main course for our reservation the following night.

A perfect place to start our french vaccation. Warm welcoming and typical french tasteful cuisine. We really recommend to have a dinner when visiting the riviera. 👌⭐️

Wow! Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service. We had a bottle of the house red wine, fish stuffed ravioli in beurre blanc, duck and prawns with the house sides of the day (julienned spring veggies, mashed sweet potatoes, and fresh French fries). All were homemade and you get a great romantic experience of seeing the fire where the proteins are prepared. We were also offered an amuse bouche of chickpea flour pancakes, local to the area and with a healthy punch of salt. Do not skip dessert! We indulged in a sweet dessert wine and the best chocolate mouse we have ever had - a special recipe of the chef. We had the great experience of talking to the owners, a charming husband and wife duo, about food, France, and life. This restaurant is a can’t miss gem for locals and travelers alike.
