Pizzeria Taormina sur Toulon

10/03/2024: There are places where a temporal parenthesis opens... this was the case last night at the Lido in Toulon. Arrived around 7:30 p.m., a little early than my reservation time (8:00 p.m.). The restaurant was empty and found myself with the great team of waiters (se/Assa) getting ready for service. I was going to come out for a few minutes to give them time to get back to their evening, but they insisted that I take a seat next to them and we got to know each other. Truly passionate about their work, with kindness and benevolence under all circumstances. Thanks to Assa, Franck and the others for this welcome and for the rest of the evening which was exceptional. The dishes are fine, very well presented and of great flavor. I was accompanied by a friend and throughout the meal there was never a lack of attention. I go out a lot, I often go to restaurants but it is exceptional to have been welcomed this way!!! I will return there, recommend it and again THANK YOU to the entire Lido de Toulon team for this temporary break which is so rare these days. Lawrence.
