Omnibus Cafe sur Paris

My sister and I were looking for a place to have breakfast before taking the train. Unfortunately, it was too early and the boss (I presume) very kindly pointed us to the bakery where they usually get their supplies. The croissants were very good. When we passed the brasserie again while looking for our bus stop, the owner took the time to greet us and ask us what we thought of the bakery. It is this type of very simple and very human interaction that makes the charm of Parisian life, despite the stubborn clichés.

The food was really very good and a lot too. Unfortunately the restaurant is very disappointing with its service. We had to wait 15 minutes to get a menu even though we were seated. Another 15 minutes until we could order the food. Unfortunately, the drinks also took a while to arrive. We also asked for mayonnaise for our fries, which we never received. Unfortunately, the waiters didn't have time to look around and see if anyone needed anything. More waiters would do the restaurant a lot of good. Because as I said, the food was really delicious.

The welcome is very friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant (although the music is a little loud for eating, but that's part of the atmosphere)... The portions are generous and I enjoyed the avocado toast. Too bad the service was so long loooong (it was a Sunday and there was no crowd) ...so we skipped dessert....

Avocado toast with soft egg served very clearly (too) hard egg, we comment, the waitress comes back from the kitchen to say "ok to do it again for you but it will take 20 minutes!". We understand better why the yellow was very solid 😅 So they made an omelette 😅 Otherwise, nice servers, nice atmosphere. Waiting too long (35 minutes for 3 in an empty restaurant - 2 other tables occupied).

OK for a drink BUT SDF harasser and VULGAR and the staff did nothing! Nice atmosphere though.

Except that no more bread at 8:45 p.m.

The best staff with great drinks. Stop for a couple.
