L'escapade sur Besancon

22/05/2024: Great restaurant, friendly atmosphere. From starter to dessert there is nothing to say. I recommend the plancha menu which is very good and friendly.

18/05/2024: In truth, I find it a shame that we cannot award half stars. I find it difficult with 4 stars when everything went very well. If I could, I would have awarded 4.5 The interior of the restaurant is very wooded, the little video game music is nice, the decorations are rather effective, the kitchen is visible from the tables, it is overall a very nice place. 5 of us came on a Saturday lunchtime. There are people there, it’s an address that seems to work quite well. The two waitresses are pleasant, friendly and professional. I ordered a transalpine burger (burger of the month), which was delicious. The ingredients are fresh, the meat is of good quality, the flavors are pleasant, the bread is good, I have nothing to say about it. The portion of salad is perhaps a little small but the portion of fries is generous. Too bad some are a little soft, but we feel that they are homemade. I then had dessert, tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream and custard. Too bad that for dessert, the puff pastry of the tart is soft and not crispy. Overall it's a good experience. The prices are a little high but ultimately quite standard in this type of establishment.
