Very warm restaurant where good humor is present as soon as you are welcomed. A perfect daily menu for a more than reasonable price. Very well located in the center of Nerac at the foot of the Chateau. To discover.

Situé en face du château, très bon accueil même si nous n'avions pas réservé. En effet, peu de restaurant sur Nerac, et donc beaucoup de monde bien qu'on soit encore tôt dans la saison. Menu du jour à 13,90 eur, terrine, boudin noir (sans morceaux de gras)avec aligot et moelleux au caramel beurre salé...très bon repas. Service rapide, jolie salle.

In one of Henri's towns, we find the restaurant facing the castle. Beautiful room, beautiful sober decor and excellent cuisine. A pleasure of gastronomic relaxation.

Le Vert Galant

24/05/2024: Everything was perfect, the location, (it will be even better on sunny days on the terrace with a view of the water.) Pleasant and refined cuisine, attentive staff. I will come back this summer.
21/05/2024: Yesterday noon, with the closure of certain restaurants, destiny directed us to Vert Galant. What a joy to have found this gastronomic gem. Taste the foie gras ice cream which is a marvel. The toasts are a great delight. The cozy atmosphere at the entrance is magical. Too bad it was raining, because I would have liked to enjoy this good time on the terrace by the water. But that is only a postponement. Thank you to the Manager who was elegant in her clothing and the young waitress for their kindness and good advice during the course of our meal. Looking forward to this summer :) and thank you again.
