This was my second visit in 5 years through an introduction from my wife's friend. It's run by a Japanese couple and all the staff are Japanese. You can enjoy French cuisine without feeling strangely nervous. I'm very satisfied because the level of cooking seems to have improved even more than 5 years ago.

A little crowded in the not too large room with its sober decor, on this Sunday lunchtime. To choose from: Lunch Menu (weekdays), Red Children’s Menu (my choice) or 7-course menu. After a few olives (extra) and an airy appetizer, the serious things arrive. A confusing starter based on bonito, followed by cabbage stuffed in a divine sauce. The tastes are original, not too strong but sophisticated and attractive. The presentations are always neat. Discreet but present Japanese influence on all floors. Less notable dessert, deliberately chosen light (it's even written on the menu!). Some wines by the glass can add to the bill. In return, for example in Santenay or Châteauneuf-du-Pape it is perfectly justified. Nice staff. A little waiting. A very good and very pleasant address for taste adventurers looking for a different and classy bistronomy, but without fuss.

We have several Japanese staff members, so you can also make reservations by phone. Everything was so delicious that it was so beautifully arranged that it was almost a waste to eat it. The weekend lunch course is the price of the evening course.

Our second time in Les Enfants Rouges was interesting. Definitely reserve your table in advance, the place is packed. Cozy atmosphere. Staff is super nice. Best dish-desert. Both Pavlova and Cheese cake were superb. Lamb chops were delicious. Neither of the entries deserve a mention, thus 4 stars.

Wow! A fantastic fusion between French and Japanese, everything based on good ingredients and fine flavors. The staff is pleasant, professional and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Difficult to give an overall rating because the meal is really successful, inventive and tasty. On the other hand, the room is small, the tables for 2 are much too small. There is no tablecloth and the napkins are paper. Finally, the toilets are quite outdated. The bill is quite steep, especially compared to the room! In short, a setting that deserves 2 stars with a cuisine that deserves 5. Change location please.
