The Buissonnière school lives up to its name! Both a creperie and an artists’ workshop, set up in a former village school, a real return to childhood. Excellent and generous pancakes and pancakes. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere intimate. Favorite for the playground for a tasting in the shade of the trees. I recommend without hesitation. Remember to book as it quickly fills up.

An old school converted into an art workshop and creperie, a charming place with a very pretty terrace. The cuisine is tasty and generous, made with quality products. A real favorite that we recommend with our eyes closed!

An excellent address: excellent buckwheat pancakes, filling and tasty….dessert pancakes also excellent! We feasted!! Very friendly and smiling service: you feel very good in this place where the pleasure of the eyes meets that of the taste buds since numerous paintings and watercolors are exhibited and available for sale. An original setting in an old school, I recommend +++ the places!

Wonderful site, the food is very good, the welcome is friendly and welcoming. The artists are simple and very educational, we want to...paint, walk around to draw, eat, chat, etc... I highly recommend 😍😍

We had dinner there on a Saturday evening. Remember to make a reservation as there are very few tables. The staff are lovely, you feel a bit like home. You can admire some works there. The pancakes are good and plentiful. We recommend!

Thank you for this little moment outside of all the expensive and humane tourist traps that can be found in Sarlat. Here we can chat, connect, with good vibes. Found a little by chance, during a hiking trip, we were well received, including our dog 🐕. Good buckwheat pancakes, excellent infusion, finally the atmosphere of this old school transformed into a painting school completes this very good time. Seek you will find...

13/02/2024: This charming place offers the true flavours of Perigordine cuisine, with fresh and local ingredients, generous portions, and exquisite service. The restaurant is located at the foot of the Montfort castle, overlooking the Dordogne river, which adds to the romantic and scenic atmosphere. We make sure to visit here each time we are in the region, and we are never disappointed. The menu has something for everyone, from salads and soups to meat and fish dishes, all prepared with care and skill. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend a wine or a dessert to complete your meal. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. I highly recommend Le Centenaire to anyone who wants to enjoy a memorable dining experience in the heart of the Périgord. It is a must visit!
07/10/2023: After enjoying French cuisine for almost two weeks, this brasserie was a timely digestive oasis with a non- meat salad with fresh ingredients. It was October and the salad included a tasty raspberry and blackberry, crisp bib like lettuce, walnut, small cheese cubes, carrot, yellow pepper and some things that I either can’t remember or cannot identify. All good with a glass of white wine and a peekaboo view of the Montfort Castle. Easy parking.
