A bit of a wait, but the staff was friendly, our mussels with cream were good. Small downside: no finger rinse, and a tablespoon would have been welcome.

Seems prices have gone substantially up compared to previous years. Mussels and French fries, a basic local dish, now cost 17-18 euros, which is exorbitant by the regional standards. Dishes do not automatically come with complementary bread, as in practically all other restaurants around. Service average at best, for example, we had to ask repeatedly for water and ketchup for the fries.

Établissement très très bien, on y mange très bien, le personnel est convivial, accueillant, très sympa.... Prends le temps de parler avec les clients, souriant Je recommande++++++++ A refaire très vite

Nous avons déjeuné dans ce petit restau en remontant de la plage. Une très bonne adresse à retenir. Les assiettes sont belles et copieuses. Les boissons (bien fraiches) arrivent au quart de tour. Ma salade cesar était de qualité, pleine de lardons, tomates, croûtons, lamelles de parmesan, nombreix morceaux de poulet bien tendres et pas secs du tout, salade, œufs durs, assaisonnement delicieux. top !!! Sans oublier le personnel super accueillant, efficace et attentif à nos demandes du début à la fin

Très bon restaurant, carte variée, pour tous les goûts, végétarien, nous avons été très satisfaits!!Mais aussi, desserts à ma portée comme la panacotta au lait de coco ( intolérance lait de vache !!) qui était délicieuse .

11/05/2024: Le Grillon at Hourtin Plage: an unforgettable experience! A real gem discovered during our vacation at Hourtin Plage! Le Grillon is much more than just a restaurant, it is an unforgettable culinary experience. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a smiling and attentive team. The dishes, prepared with fresh, homemade products, were simply delicious. Each bite was a taste journey, revealing all the passion and know-how of the chef. We particularly appreciated the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the place, which allowed us to fully savor every moment. And we came back...several times, to discover the beautiful menu (favorite for the oysters, the roasted camembert, the prawns with garlic cream, the duck breast, the cheeseburger, the line-caught tuna steak ,...and special mention for the strawberry mille-feuille, just perfect!!). A big thank you to Ophélie, and to her entire Grillon team, for this exceptional experience! We highly recommend this establishment to all lovers of good cuisine and convivial moments.
07/05/2024: Had the duck x two, two other mains and four deserts + beers, a bit expensive but good 👌
