Super rapport qualité prix, service agréable et terrasse au bord de la Gartempe super plaisante! Le roman des saveurs ne nous raconte pas d'histoire. Mais c'est une très bonne adresse!

Dommage qu'on ne puisse mettre une note entre le 3 et le 4. Grandes salles un peu froides mais avec une vue superbe sur la Gartempe. Une cuisine un peu banale, des viandes trop cuites, une attente vraiment longue entre le plat et le dessert mais rien à redire sur le rapport qualité prix. J'ai donc choisi de mettre un 4...

An exceptional setting, family cuisine that we enjoy with great pleasure, a soothing atmosphere, attentive service, in short, only positives. I recommend. Please note, reservations are required if you want to have lunch in this restaurant.

Restaurant on the banks of the Gartemple in a pleasant setting Very good service. Good cuisine where it still lacks a little flavor but beautiful presentation. A little embarrassed by some public admonitions between the staff... I still recommend it.

Passing through Montmorillon with family, we pushed open the door of "the novel of flavors" to find ourselves in a magnificent setting. The welcome is warm, the service more than perfect and the cuisine excellent with a beautiful presentation. Thank you for this evening at your establishment,

Very pleasantly surprised by the careful cuisine, efficient service and very warm welcome. The chef goes around the tables, is imaginative and his sauces are careful; On the other hand, if you are allergic to certain flavors that may make them up, such as cheese, alcohol, etc., specify this before ordering. Excellent value.

We went for lunch and were welcomed and seated in a lovely spacious dining room with a stunning view of the river. The menu was explained to us professionally and the food was excellent and well presented. The speed of service was perfect. All the restaurant staff were attentive and helpful. A bonus was the chef coming round all the tables and asking our opinion of the meal. We will certainly be returning.

The dishes are very good with a lot of research. The owners and staff are very friendly and always attentive to customers. I recommend this establishment if you want to eat gourmet cuisine in a good atmosphere and in a pleasant setting.

A first visit in January at the top with the boss as the only staff encouraged us to come back in March, still as good except that despite the presence of an additional server, the service took longer than necessary, too bad, but everything else was perfect

11/05/2024: We were invited here by our in-laws who had previously visited. We had dinner, slept the night in the hotel and had breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious with a great choice of fine dishes. I am allergic to gluten but this was no problem, the staff took the time to explain what to avoid and even modified some dishes to cater for me. it didn't bother them at all and they were very understanding unlike a lot of other places who seem very bothered by anyone with a food allergy. The evening went by beautifully with the servers presenting what was in each dish and giving us advice on the best way to eat some things in true gastronomic restaurant style. The bedroom was simple but very clean with a nice bathroom and large comfortable bed. We slept very well! Breakfast the next morning was a pleasure too with a wide selection of dishes, including home made gluten-free bread, served in a quiet, spacious and comfortable room. A big thanks to all the staff, we shall certainly be returning so see you all soon!
24/04/2024: On the gastronomic side, the best sweetbreads in the world, just sublime! On the bistro side, incomparable value for money. Thank you for this craft that touches on goldsmithing.

09/05/2024: Good salads, good pancakes, varied choice, quality, freshness, the same goes for desserts, crepes or ice creams. Always a great welcome, a pleasant terrace so...we will come back for sure! Bikers
