Le Rideau Cramoisi sur Saint-Sauveur-Le-Vicomte

24/08/2023: Shortly before the end of the holiday, we went to the coast again and stayed in this charming auberge for 3 nights. The service, the food and the friendly welcome deserve a good 4 stars. We were also traveling with 1 teenager and 2 dogs and were happy to find family and pet-friendly accommodation. The prices were correct and overall the price-performance ratio was good. It would have been cheaper to book directly instead of through Booking.com The points were deducted for the rooms for 3 reasons: 1. environmental awareness: I would have wished that only the towels that were used and lying on the floor would be replaced (as is actually the sign of replacement in the hotel) and not the ones that we had hung up again. 2. the condition: Some rooms had apparently already been renovated, but nevertheless the carpets and bathrooms were neither contemporary nor in particularly good condition. There were several holes in the carpet, the corners and edges in the bathroom and shower cubicle were not clean. 3. the rooms are incredibly noisy. No matter whether it's the door to the room or the shower, you can hear everything from your neighbor. Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay and the location is perfect!

19/08/2023: Very good meal, quite simple for the setting, it's surprising, great value for money. On the other hand, it's annoying these restaurants which serve the starter while the aperitif is not finished. It's becoming commonplace...
