Le Résinier sur Le Barp

Halfway between Bordeaux and Arcachon, we had a very nice surprise when we discovered this place. The setting is very friendly and everything changes as soon as you walk through the door and onto the patio. The service immediately made us feel very welcome and was very attentive during the meal. In terms of room, we were quite disappointed however because we had taken a very nice room in a cabin (isolated part of the hotel) and as we have a baby we were moved to a large annex facing the road (modern and without any charm - nothing to do with the room booked). We were quite surprised by this change but we tried to remember the good service and treatment received, the quality of the food and the very nice swimming pool. On the other hand, the standard of the rooms is very different between those in chalet/cabin style and the rest, so this should be considered when booking.

Seen from the outside, a hotel that hides its wonders well but, once we cross the threshold, we go from surprise to surprise. Very beautiful little hotel, very cozy, where every detail is thought out with great taste. Nothing is left to chance. Very warm. Decoration done with great taste. An owner with an extraordinary background, a desired style of travel (Bali, Tanzania, etc.). A superb stay. Without forgetting the breakfast, also very qualitative. There is nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. Hotel with a lot of soul.
