Le Petit Mousse sur Palavas-Les-Flots

I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I had a classic burger menu with Coca Cola. The meat was tender and went very well with the vegetables. But the best for me were the fries dipped in spices. I went there with my family and apparently the mussels were excellent: the gratinated ones as much as the normal ones. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was calm for an indoor (or outdoor, depending on the table chosen) restaurant. Very good experience, I recommend.

About the place: The ambience is nice, it has good lightning and the terrace is attractive. Though, there's nothing very extraordinary about the design. There was also a pigeon flying and walking inside the establishment while there was people eating. About the service: The servers were nice, the food a little long to arrive, we waited for around 20 to 25 minutes. Nothing to complain about, and nothing that stands out, average. About the food: I ordered salmon from the marine menu, which was accompanied with risotto, cauliflower, some sort of humus and a balsamic drizzle. The salmon was a bit dry, it didn't have much seasoning to It, it was somewhat plain. The risotto was tacky when the plate came, not creamy and was also under-seasoned. The humus was seasoned, but the combination didn't really align with the rest of the plate. And finally, the cauliflower was extremely over-seasoned, almost overwhelming, you were hit by the strong smell of pepper and cumin coming from it, it shadowed the smell of even the salmon itself. The balsamic drizzle was not it for me, the sweet hint to it was off place with what the plate was in the first place. There was also different type of seasoned oils in the plate that just didn't make sense at all with the dish. Overall experience: It's very average as a restaurant, the food is not as good as it's possibly advertised and even overpriced, there's better restaurants around.

Excellent restaurant cuisine maison et accueil très sympathique

Un des rares restaurants ouverts "hors saison"... Nous sommes arrivés vers 13h30 et placés rapidement. Le service fût agréable, professionnel et assez rapide malgré les nombreux clients. Les burgers étaient excellent et copieux, il ne manquait qu'une petite mayonnaise maison pour accompagner les frites. Je recommande.

Ce restaurant mérite une note plus élevée car la nourriture est bien meilleure que dans les autres restaurants à côté, le personnel est très sympathique. La nourriture que nous avons commandée pour 6 personnes a été préparée très rapidement et tout le monde a été très surpris par la qualité et le goût. C'est le meilleur restaurant que nous ayons visité dans cette ville.
