Le Homard Frites sur Vannes

We were there this evening. The service was great, which is half the battle. I ordered the Homard Rolls. As an amuse gueulle there was a fine herbal foam with sprouts, a good introduction. As an aperitif we each had a glass of champagne. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it because the food came much too quickly. By the way, the wine also came too early; it was supposed to come with the meal. So we had the champagne, the wine and the main course together in front of us. That was different at the Daily Gourmand, even though it is more of a tourist restaurant. The waiter there kept checking to see if we had finished our champagne before he came with the food. We had only just finished eating when the question came about dessert. People, eating is a need, enjoying is an art. We like to enjoy, which means there should be breaks between courses. I would have liked to have another dessert, but I wouldn't have been able to do that. Let's get to the positive: as already mentioned at the beginning, the waiters were friendly. The food tasted very good, as did the champagne and wine. We also liked the ambience. All in all it was really good. You can work on the small points of criticism.

While passing through Vannes, my wife and I ate in this restaurant and we don't regret it. Everything was perfect: warm welcome, excellent meal with 1/2 lobster served with unlimited fries. The Breton Tiramisu dessert is a treat with its salted butter caramel. Very good value for money. I highly recommend

What can I say? This restaurant is the tastiest fast food restaurant I know. I still had one arm in my coat when the greeting from the kitchen was already on the table. Even when it came to ordering, we felt like we were on the run. A cozy evening was out of the question, and the atmosphere was also very cold. When we said that we wanted to take our time with the dessert, the waiter came back after just a minute to ask again. Absolutely incomprehensible to us as it wasn't full and the table wasn't needed. We really enjoyed the food, especially the scallop carpaccio with rocket sorbet, and the service was friendly. However, we wouldn't come back. Very touristy.
