We had dinner at Wine Bar with my husband and daughter. The place is spectacular, it was a hotel, it has a very good atmosphere. The owner is a winemaker. He speaks several languages. Very kind and attentive Michel. He was talking with us about the wineries of Mendoza - Argentina. Obviously the wine is very good. The food too. We ordered the Cod with aioli and Eggplant + chicken roll + Chocolate cake. Highly recommended

A little disappointed... I think the establishment has lost its former prestige. I ate the daily menu there which for the service is very correct (starter + main course + glass of wine at 16€). But hey, so the quality is not very good, the fries there are 3 which fight a duel, the meat is ok but really nothing more. A little effort to put the same quality in the menu as in the menu would be welcome. On the other hand, impeccable staff.

Stopped for lunch here on a friend’s recommendation and absolutely loved this restaurant. Cozy warm interior, very friendly service and incredible salted cod dish named “Brandade de morue” which is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. We also had the homemade tapenade which was excellent. The wine list is huge, with an excellent choice of high end French and international. There is also a good menu for wines by the glass and pichets. There was a great looking cheese trolley that we didn’t have time to experience but I’d love to go back one day soon!

28/03/2024: Several evenings in this nice and friendly little bar located in one of the most emblematic streets in the center of Nîmes. The wines and products are chosen with a certain passion (you can feel it). Not yet tested everything in terms of food but the platters and toasts made from local products are very good.... And the prices remain more than correct and affordable. A safe place where you feel good even if sometimes it can seem cramped, but that's also what gives it its charm.... And then around 11-11:30 p.m. a burst of music to liven things up a bit. Cyril
12/01/2024: Place in the heart of Nîmes where we love to go. Boards with excellent local products, a wide choice of beers and wine. The owner and employees are top notch.

15/03/2024: Hello everyone ! This evening again in the restaurant I had to modify my previous very favorable opinion. Tonight he is fantastic! I started with a foie gras of indecent finesse, which you only find in the best, and they assured me that it was indeed a production of the chef. So this one should receive the congratulations!!! For my second dish I took the suggestion, monkfish. And there, I am not surprised but captivated! The monkfish, already closed, is cooked consistent, perfect, the snow peas are al dente, the pumpkin puree is to die for. Great art. I noticed that everyone here is modest, but they deserve a lot! Thank you to them, thank you to the young women in the dining room who are of rare courtesy, thank you to the boss for his music that I love and to the chef, I put my hat on and greet him with respect.
