I have just read with dismay some clear opinions, totally incomprehensible to us. Our experience (at 40, for a wedding) is the exact opposite. Impeccable welcome, professionalism, excellent cuisine even for the “accompaniments”, often sloppy, which were perfect, very well chosen music, extraordinary atmosphere, beauty of the place, and very reasonable value for money for such good service. We will return with immense pleasure and a lot of gratitude for the success of this beautiful moment.

She sat in Lino's place, and I in Bernard's place. We wanted to have a comforting lunch and a relaxing drink (the famous stage 1 of the Poelvoorde scale - compared to which the Richter scale is anecdotal).
We were well, speaking literature as well as PCM (another scale, psychological this one) under the high patronage of the clairvoyant Fitoussi whom we read separately without knowing it, a thousandth indication of our intellectual complicity.
The Saint Estèphe was easy to drink, the Vioc passed to stage 2 with joy. We took the pepper fillet with the same impulse, and we did well. Then the brioche finished off Madame in a buttery and regressive indulgence while Monsieur swam in chocolate happiness only disturbed by the bites of vanilla ice cream. We laughed as usual and the magic of this moment in a cozy atmosphere, from another era, was magnified by a doe skin that I love so much.
At the exit, we thanked for no reason an idle passerby, on a cigarette break, as if we wanted to express our gratitude to the first person to come for these precious moments.
What followed was a burst of laughter that kicked off the afternoon with the best auspices...
