We were disappointed by the quality of the slightly tough red meat, which we pointed out to the waitress who recognized that we were not the only ones to notice this. Too bad the boss didn't come to see us and also make a commercial gesture. Then we were surprised to find that the coffee comes from a Nespresso machine, for an establishment like this it is very surprising. The wine list is excessive. Our starters were good, the crispy pork too. Very good chocolate desserts.

A friend invited me to discover Au Bouchon du Vaugueux during a weekday evening. On my arrival, I was welcomed in a warm room, with sober decoration which evokes the atmosphere of a brasserie while preserving a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and always available. The cuisine, for its part, stands out for its generosity and the quality of the products, visibly sourced from local producers. To start my meal, I opted for the snail casserole. This marriage of gastropods and poultry pleasantly surprised me, and the garlic and Thai butter sauces matched perfectly. Then, I savored a rump steak, tender to the core and delicately grilled, enhanced by an oxtail jus to die for. I cannot recommend this address highly enough if you are looking for simple cuisine, made from quality products, and above all prepared with know-how. A real gem to discover without hesitation.

It was my first experience in this restaurant, and I was impressed by the new flavors discovered there, as many point out. The starter and main course were really delicious. However, I find the price of the dessert a bit high for what it offers. The interior is quite small, which creates a noisy atmosphere where people step on each other a bit. Our table was not stable which was a little annoying for the meal. That said, despite the small drawbacks, I still recommend this restaurant because the quality of the dishes is really excellent, especially since the products are mainly local.
