La Rotisserie sur Paris

The most famous restaurant in Paris, an institution since the 1930s, but has existed since 1600. The Michelin star is even a useless "extra". The opinion of the Michelin Guide is unable to add anything to a place like this. The Tour d'Argent is Paris. The eternal one. Must try, at least once in your life Obviously, if you can afford to spend a minimum of €400 per person (but you can easily spend more than €500).

Everything we had was excellent [escargot, duck, chocolate cake] with the exception of the Ceasar salad with chicken which was fine, but nothing spectacular. Lovely waiter and atmosphere.

My wife and I had the roast duck for two in two courses. The duck was perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was fantastic.

This birthday evening on Sunday, May 12, however, got off to a bad start for reasons (relatively) beyond the control of the restaurant: The capricious weather of this bridge in May was first very sunny then rainy, leading respectively to an unexpected influx of customers (generating a shortage of products which were no longer available on the menu that evening) then the closure of the terrace (whose magnificent view was one of the main reasons for our visit). In short, the staff understands the situation and our frustration and is therefore very attentive to make us forget these inconveniences and so that we can have a good evening (6 glasses of champagne, 1 starter to share and 1 dessert offered, that's not all. is still not nothing). In the end, the dishes are delicious (the duck remains a reference, the salmon is not left out). And yet, at the time of departure, the most unforgettable experience will undoubtedly be the offer to have a last drink on the brand new roof terrace of the Tour d'Argent restaurant (located right next door), thus taking advantage of an even more impressive and magical view of Paris than initially expected. A very special mention to Wallid and his entire team for their constant attention, their impeccable service and their constant good humor throughout the evening. This is clearly what made the difference and we thank you once again!

Magical moments on the rooftop enjoying a glass of champagne then having a dinner that lived up to our expectations with a discreet team watching over us.

Probably the best Restaurant we have ever visited. We are definitely coming again!

very touristy place Roast duck 98e for 2 could be for 4 people 181€ for 3 people without dessert, just with a glass of wine!! €3 for a carafe of water!!!! to do once no more

Surprisingly average. With all of the other fabulous restaurants in Paris, we wouldn’t return. Steak was not good. Chicken was good but nothing special. Best thing we had was the deviled eggs and frites.
