La fontaine sur Bernay

We ate very well this Easter weekend. Copious plates and very good food! Very pleasant staff. Great discovery for a pleasant family meal.

While roaming all year round, I stop at this establishment. We are not at all on a good quality/quantity/price ratio!!!! Clearly I was thinking of an establishment in the center of Paris while it is lost in the middle of Normandy.... The buffet is very simplistic and of low quality and the salad "without salad" is overpriced.... However, the welcome, the service and the setting were perfect... too bad...

Food was good. Both chose the MENU à 26.90Euros. Could have been advised earlier that the BUFFET DE HORS D'OEUVRE was indeed a help yourself buffet! Assumed that the PLATEAU DE FROMAGES OU DESSERTS AU CHOIX meant that we could choose any dessert from the menu, but were charged separately for these. Enjoyed the meal nonetheless. 94euros for two including wine.

Large room with great calm and a warm charm with the large fireplace. Nothing to say about the service, large choice of wines for wine lovers.

Despite our late arrival we were very well received. Very decent buffet. Good dishes and desserts. I recommend.
